Blog Reflection
Wiki is totally new to me I was so embarrassed to not be able to figure out what we were talking about in class but now that I can see what this is all about I can say that it’s something that will help everyone in class. I am sure that this will make it more interesting for everyone and make it easier for all of us this semester. Using wiki can help the students become more familiar with technology but not only that it will be a great asset to the class and also the teacher. I am sure that teachers who use wiki in class feel that their students might be learning more in the classroom and can develop their computer and technology use in a higher level. I have been playing with this for a little bit now and can see that it can really important in classrooms it’s a great way to use technology in class and for all of the students to be involved in. They can do their notes and ask for help when they need to. They can make notes so that not only that student but also their classmate can understand the class better.
Wiki can be a fun place to do work in and I am sure that as time comes it will only get easier and will probably be in every classroom.
I have a few years using blogs and when I first started it really was not a big thing for me but now that I see what using blogs can do it amasses me to know how much it can help students become more into technology and sometimes help make it easier for them to do their work and homework. Although I am not a teacher once I become one I hope to incorporate using blogs in my classroom and I am sure that the students will enjoy it as much as I will. I am sure their are hundreds of ways to incorporate using blogs in the curriculum and as I learn more about technology I get more interested and want to use it in my classroom.

podcast activity page link Blog Reflection: It took me a little while to figure out how to get the system going on my comp but finally got it and it took only a few minutes for me to get a handle of it. Using podcasts is something that is super fun to do and interesting at the same time. Creating audio using software such as Audacity can be a great learning tool and the best thing is that it’s free. I have learned that podcasts can be used in a daily basis in the classroom and that it’s easy to use for the teacher but also great tool for the students to learn. If all the teachers would use podcasts in their classes the students will be more prepared when it came to using technology in class. Using the audio can be an experience and if students use it in class it can help them and be a learning experience for them as well. Once I become a teacher I plan on using podcasts in a daily basis in my class I really enjoyed using Audacity to record and once I got it working I wanted to record my voice all the time it was funny but I really liked it. I am sure that students in my class will have a good time using it especially since they will be learning while using the software

Creating calendars to use for your classes or any calendar that you might need can become really interesting and useful when using productivity tools. It is not only easy to use for the teachers but also for the students. It’s great to use productivity tools for school work because you can share files with your peers and also your teachers really fast and easy, and the most important thing is that it’s a free tool.
I have learned that using productivity applications will help collaborative work and will help our classrooms use technology as part of the curriculum. This will help the teachers incorporate technology into their classrooms and it’s a great tool to use since its super easy to get it and get work it. Once I become a teacher I will use this tool in my classroom and I am sure that the students will enjoy using it too. There are many advantages for using productivity tools such as its really easy to use and the availability of sharing it.

Visual learning is extremely useful in today’s classrooms and also many teachers like using visuals while they teach. Having visuals in presentations, making videos can be really easy and also very useful in class. It can also be challenging for students and also become really effective when learning. I have always been a visual learner and although some people don’t like to see visuals while learning it can be a important task to use for those people like me. It can be challenging and a great way to use critical thinking in our classrooms. There are many tools than you can use to work with visuals and it can help students become challenged and use those critical thinking caps. It can also be a motivation for students to use software’s and computers; it can also work to the advantage of the students and work collaborative with others in class. What I have learned from using visual information while using the web is that it has helped me become more familiar with media software and the net. Jing is a cool place to use not only because its free but also because it’s a great way to use learning exercises in class and with the students, I am sure that once I become a teachers I will use Jing in my class and I am sure that it will be an excellent learning tool students can be really creative and it will enhance their learning skills. I would have my students use Jing to create short videos that explain maybe the projects that they have for a week or two. They can explain to others about what their projects will consist of and what they will be learning from the activity. I would have students work collaborative and this will give the students a chance to ask others for help and have different ideas to work with.
The educational website that I used I think is a great way tool to use in class and it helps students see visuals, it’s really animated and it helps students and also parents and teachers to get into the work and get motivated when they are doing a project or just simple homework. It helps every student learn something from the alphabet to math and computer tasks great page to use.
Google Earth is a great tool to use, it’s very useful and any student can use it. The benefits of using this tool is you can use it for a group assignment and once you teach the students they will easily understand it and also have fun doing the activity. After reading about Google Earth, I have to come realize that it’s really interesting and it’s a great way to use technology incorporating an activity that deals with Google Earth can benefit the student’s knowledge of technology and help them understand a little more about the internet and its benefits. A benefit of using Google Earth it’s that it’s a great tool to look for maps you can find any place that you are looking for and it can get really detailed. One I become a teacher I will somehow incorporate using Google Earth in one of my classrooms activities and have the students work in groups. The first time that I used Google Earth I searched a little place in Mexico were my parents grew up. I was so happy to find it and it was so emotional when I showed it to my parents as I zoomed in it went into detail and showed the church that my parents went to as children and the house were my mom grew up. It’s really amazing how they can show all those little details, my mom then showed us around the area and we learned a little more about her from Google Earth.
After working on my final project I have learned so much, it has been a challenge but have learned so much from taking this class I am sure that it will help me in the future and I really enjoyed doing every assignment.
My educational video consists of a lesson. I will be singing the O MacDonald had a farm song in both English and Spanish. I will first sing the song in English and after that I will sing the song in Spanish. My objective of the video is for my students to learn ESL in class. They will learn the names of farm animals, in Spanish and English while singing a song. Students will have pictures of the objects so that they are familiar with them and have them as guides while watching the video. I expect them to learn rhythm and beat, hand coordination end of the song and the video.
